Best Settings for Clean Recolor Results
Clean recoloring is a balance between exact color and believable texture. These starting points work well for most AI graphics, product mockups, and social images.
When the color does not reach enough area
Increase Tolerance in small steps. If edges become rough, increase Edge softness before pushing tolerance higher.
When the new color looks muddy
Turn on Prime white first and raise Color purity. This reduces contamination from the original color while still allowing controlled shading.
When text or details change by accident
Use Erase over the details you want to protect. Showing the mask can help you see what the recolor pipeline is catching.
