Image recoloring FAQ
Which image formats can I use?
PNG and JPEG are tested inputs. The editor exports PNG; it does not provide vector editing or background removal.
Will the export keep the original size?
Images larger than 1,800 pixels on their longest side are resized for editing. The exported PNG uses those canvas dimensions. Desktop export controls show the width and height.
Can I keep a transparent PNG background?
The worked PNG example retains fully and partially transparent pixels. Inspect your exported edges over light and dark backgrounds. This does not remove an existing background.
How much does an export cost?
The current editor has no account or payment step. Advertising helps support the site. Download PNG starts the download directly.
Are uploaded images sent to a server?
The recoloring workflow uses your browser’s canvas; the editor does not upload the image for processing. Advertising can make separate network requests. Read the privacy policy for details.
Why is the replacement color sometimes shaded?
The editor preserves light and texture by default. Turn on Prime white first and raise Color purity if you need a cleaner, flatter color match.
Can I protect part of the image?
Yes. Use Select to include a region and Erase to remove areas from the effect.
What format does export use?
The editor exports a PNG of the recolored image, without comparison lines or mask overlays.
