How to Recolor AI-Generated Images Cleanly
AI image generators often create beautiful shapes with awkward colors. A clean recolor workflow starts by sampling the color you want to replace, then narrowing the effect with a soft mask so texture and edges stay intact.
Use color selection first
Click the color inside the image, then adjust tolerance until the intended area changes without catching unrelated objects. If the image has gradients or generated texture, increase edge softness before increasing tolerance.
Use manual masking when colors repeat
If the same color appears in text, skin, shadows, or another product detail, use Select to paint the intended area and Erase to protect anything that should stay untouched.
Get a truer replacement color
Turn on Prime white first when the old hue keeps showing through. Raise Color purity for cleaner brand-color output, then lower it slightly if the result needs more original lighting.
